This a Vixen Style Finder Dovetail Bracket for hot shoes on DSLR or older SLR cameras. Our solar finder can be ed directly on it, or you can directly small guide s or finders. Made from all-aluminum construction. Also has a 1/4-20 threaded hole on the bottom for ing on tripods, ball heads, or any other standard camera ing. Is compatible with GSO, TPO, Vixen, X-class, Zhumell, etc. This fourth-generation hot-shoe adapter comes with a D shaped central pillar to prevent loosening or movement. We have also added a second thumbscrew. This allows better lockdown but also gives you the choice to use a right or left thumbscrew if either is in the way. This adapter is for Vixen-style FINDER dovetails, not for tele s. Fitting tips: For a new camera hotshoe, use both thumbs to push the DSLR adapter into the hotshoe, then tighten down the ring. If there is any side to side movement at the interface between the adapter and your hotshoe, a simple toothpick into the side of the hotshoe will eliminate this movement. *Does not work with new style of hotshoe on A700 cameras.
