About the item

Very practical, this small Lipo charger is so small and easy to use that you can keep it on your desk or it easily in any project. Just plug it through any USB C cable into a USB port and a 3.7V/4.2V lithium polymer or lithium ion rechargeable battery into the JST socket on the other end. There are two LEDs: one red and one green. During charging, the red LED lights up. When the battery is fully charged and ready to use, the green LED lights up. Seriously, it couldn't be easier. For use with Adafruit LiPoly/LiIon batteries only. Other batteries may have different voltage, chemistry, polarity or pin. Lipo/Lipoly/LiIon batteries not included, but we have many in the shop. Charging is done in three stages: preconditioning charge, then constant current fast charge and finally constant holding charge to keep the battery charged. The charging current is 100mA by default, so it will work with any size battery and USB port. If you want, you can easily change it to 500mA mode by soldering the jumper on the front, when you only charge 500mAh batteries or more.

For charging 3.7/4.2V lithium polymer batteries (not compatible with old 3.6/4.1V cells).
