Blossoms are white and delicate appearing in early spring with the fruit ripening in September to October. This variety does need to be pollinated by another kind in order to produce fruit, like the Winesap, Gala, Jonathan, Fuji, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious or Granny Smith. Used mostly for fresh eating, baking, applesauce or even cider!
