Vincent (Robert Sheehan), a young man with Tourette s Syndrome,
just lost his mom. As his symptoms get worse, his dad (Robert
Patrick), a frustrated politician, sends him to a behavioral
clinic run by an unconventional doctor (Kyra Sedgwick). But
Vincent made his mom a promise, and with the help of a rebellious
anorexic (Zoe Kravitz) and his withdrawn OCD roommate (Dev
Patel), the three embark on a life-changing race to the sea that
includes car theft, shoplifting, fights, self-discovery, and
maybe finding a new way to live.

Zoë Isabella Kravitz is an American actress, singer and model.
She is the daughter of musician Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa
t. She has appeared in the films No Reservations (2007), The
Brave One (2007), and as Angel Salvadore in the superhero film
X-Men: First Class (2011). Kravitz played Pearl on season four of
the Showtime television series Californication, and co-starred in
After Earth, with Will and Jaden Smith, directed by M. Night
Shyamalan. She is also well-known for her role as Christina in
the sci-fi dystopian franchise, The Divergent Series.
Robert Michael Sheehanis an Irish actor. He is best known for
television roles such as Nathan Young in Misfits and Darren in
Love/Hate, as well as the 2009 film Cherrybomb alongside Rupert
Grint. He has also co-starred in the film Killing Bono, alongside
Ben Barnes, as Ivan McCormick. In late 2011 he starred in John
Crowley's production of J. M. Synge's comic play The Playboy of
the Western World at the Old Vic Theatre in London. Sheehan has
three IFTA nominations and one BAFTA nomination. He also shared a

Dev Patel is an English actor, best known for playing Jamal Malik
in Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire (2008), for which he won a
number of awards, including a Critics' Choice Award and a Screen
Actors Guild Award. Patel is also known for his role as Anwar
Kharral in Skins; as Sonny Kapoor in The Best Exotic Marigold
Hotel and its sequel The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel; and
as Neal Sampat in Aaron Sorkin's HBO show The Newsroom.
About the Director

Gren Wells was born in Louisville, Kentucky, and raised in
Greenwich, Connecticut. After attending Manhattanville College in
Purchase, New York, Wells moved to New York City, where she
starred in six indie films over a two-year span, one of which,
Man About Town, won Best Short Film at the 1997 Sundance Film
Festival. After moving to Los Angeles, Wells became a stand-up
comic and wrote her first feature script, A Little Bit of Heaven.
Her first script, A Little Bit of Heaven, was sold to 20th
Century Fox. This script later found a home at The Film
Department and starred Kate Hudson, Gael Garcia Bernal, Kathy
Bates, Whoopi Goldberg, Rosemarie DeWitt, Lucy Punch, Romany
Malco, and Peter Dinklage.
Her second film, The Road Within, is Wells' directorial debut.
After premiering at the Los Angeles Film Festival it was acquired
by Well Go USA. It stars Zoe Kravitz, Dev Patel, Robert Sheehan,
Robert Patrick and Kyra Sedgwick and is scheduled for theatrical
release on April 17, 2015.
