Product Description
-------------------
Be free to live an active life. One in four women experiences a
degree of incontinence after giving birth, and anyone can suffer
from the condition at any time of their lives. Despite this
prevalence, it can be debilitating, embarrassing, unpleasant and
seldom discussed, and very few sufferers seek any sort of
or help. However, this common condition can be easily
treated.
Physiotherapists and doctors recommend pelvic floor exercises to
help improve levels of continence, but often these are not enough
on their own, and it is very difficult to know exactly which
muscles need to be exercised--in some cases the muscles may be so
weak that they are unable to perform simple movements in the
first place. Some women are unable to voluntarily exercise the
pelvic floor muscle themselves and require assistance. This is
when the itouch sure is required, playing a vital role in
locating and exercising the muscle for you. The itouch Sure is
the ideal way to build up strength in the pelvic floor, and
results can be seen in as little as a few weeks.
The itouch Sure unit uses gentle electrotherapy to stimulate the
pelvic floor muscles into regaining their strength and
flexibility. Using a vaginal probe, it delivers electrical
impulses which target the correct location. The pulses are not
painful, but produce a mild tingling sensation. Best of all,
itouch Sure does not have any side-effects, requires no drugs,
and can reduce or even eliminate the need for surgery.
Do NOT use the “itouch Sure” under the following circumstances:
• If you have a heart pacemaker or a heart rhythm problem
• If any discomfort occurs when inserting the probe, consult
your physician or Continence Advisor before use
• If you have been diagnosed or treated for cervical cancer
• If you have, or have had, epilepsy
• If you are pregnant
The itouch Sure is not suitable for use during pregnancy. After
the birth of your baby we recommend you begin to use the itouch
Sure only when you feel you are ready and not before your
six-week postpartum check-up.

itouch Sure Pelvic Floor exerciser can help women who have lost
their ability to voluntary exercise the pelvic floor muscle. The
itouch can help you locate the pelvic floor muscle helping you to
regain your control and strength safely, using the power of
gentle electrotherapy to stimulate the pelvic floor muscles into
functioning properly again. Do You Suffer From Incontinence?
Incontinence is a medical condition that causes involuntary and
uncontrollable loss of urine from the bladder (urinary
incontinence). It can also apply to bowel movements or wind from
the bowel (faecal or bowel incontinence). It varies in its
severity, from a slight leak to total loss of control of the
bladder or bowel which can be extremely embarrassing in a social
situation. It can happen through simple everyday activities such
as lifting something; sometimes it can happen following a ,
laugh or sneeze. New mums can also benefit from using itouch Sure
because after a woman gives birth, the pelvic floor muscles can
become affected. Stress Incontinence This is leakage of urine on
exertion or effort, which could be through ing or sneezing.
This is often caused by the sphincter muscles not functioning
properly. It can also happen during sex which can be extremely
embarrassing. Urge Incontinence The sudden leakage of urine or
overwhelming urge to urinate without being able to stop. This can
sometimes be caused through stress and anxiety and be caused
through bladder infections but is often down to a neurological
problem such as dementia, stroke, multiple sclerosis or injury to
the spinal cord. Mixed Incontinence Involuntary bladder emptying
with the uncontrollable urge to urinate caused through any kind
of exertion or stress on the body, i.e. laughing, ing,
sneezing etc.
