About the Actor
---------------
Keith Carradine - Keith made his screen debut in 1970s A
fight. He was then discovered by the legendary director Robert
Altman, who cast him in the 1971 classic McCabe and Mrs. Miller.
Carradine went on to star in Thieves Like Us, during which Altman
first learned of his musical talents. As a result, Carradine
landed a prominent role as a country singer in the huge ensemble
cast of 1975s Nashville, and several of his compositions were
featured on the films soundtrack. Im Easy won the Academy Award
for Best Song, and Carradines , released as a single on
Asylum Records, became a Top-10 pop hit. In 1991, Carradine
returned to musical theater, creating the title role in The Will
Rogers Follies, which earned him a Tony nomination. 3 years
later, Carradine narrated the childrens video release of Annie
Oakley. Collectors Choice issued Im Easy and Lost & Found as a
two-fer package in 2004. Annette OToole - Annette started acting
lessons at age 13, after her family moved to Los Angeles. Her
earliest on-screen appearance was in the 1960s variety show The
Danny Kaye Show; this was followed by guest roles in shows such
as smoke, Hawaii Five-O, and The Partridge Family. OToole
landed her first major film role in 1975, when she appeared as a
jaded beauty pageant contestant on the satirical flick Smile.
This was followed by roles in other films, such as One on One, 48
Hours and Superman III. At the time she also kept busy with work
on several TV movies. It was only in 1996 when she took a regular
role on a TV series, with an extended stint on Nash Bridges. In
2000, OToole starred in her own show, the short-lived The
Huntress. The following year, she was cast as Martha Kent, the
adoptive mother of Tom Wellings Clark Kent, on the TV series
Smallville. Her stint ended after the sixth season, although she
appeared again in 1 episode in the tenth and final season.
Brendan Fletcher - Brendan is an actor and writer, known for The
Revenant (2015), Freddy vs. Jason (2003) and Tideland (2005).
Gordon Tootoosis - Gordon is the voice of Thomas Yellowtail in
Native Spirit: The Sun Dance Way. In 1972, he got his first big
break when he landed the role of Almighty Voice in the movie
Alien Thunder which co-starred Donald Sutherland. A veteran of
over 40 films, Tootoosis has appeared with such stars as Ben
Affleck and Charlize Theron in Reindeer Games (2000) and joined
an all-star cast in Legends of the Fall (1994) with such actors
as Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins. He has also acted in Alaska
(1996) with Charlton Heston, Lone Star (1996), Pocahontas: The
Legend (1995), Black Robe (1996), and Leaving Normal (1992) with
Meg Tilly and Christine Lahti. Tootoosis has also performed in
the TV series Due South, Lonesome Dove, and Hawkeye as well as
spending 5 seasons on the hit show North of 60 as a series
regular. He is also the winner of the Eagle Spirit award at the
American Indian Motion Picture awards in 2001. Maury Chakin -
Maury made his debut in the 1975 Canadian film Me (1975). In his
35-year-long career, he appeared in over 150 parts in films and
TV series in Canada and the U.S. He was best known for his
eccentric role as Kevin Costners commanding officer in the
O-winning Dances with Wolves (1990), 3 films of Atom Egoyan,
including The Sweet Hereafter (1997), and his role as Nero Wolfe
on cable TV. (His uncle George Bloomfield directed some of the
Nero Wolfe episodes.). He won a Genie Award, the Canadian
equivalent of the O, as Best Supporting Actor for his
performance as a has-been rock star in Whale Music (1994) and two
Gemini Awards, the Canadian equivalent of the Emmy. Recently, he
had a semi-recurring role as a movie producer based on Harvey
Weinstein in the cable-TV series Entourage (2004) and a regular
role on the Canadian TV series Less Than Kind (2008).
